Description
Presented here, a tract which announces the coming of a new journal: "Surrealism in the service of the revolution." The text calls the participants to collaborate actively in creating this visionary work. Aragon suggested the title and Breton took the job of directing the journal. N.1 would appear in July of 1930. The tract appeared almost contemporaneously with the Second Manifesto which came out on June 25th. It explicitly states that the new journal will be built upon the conclusions of the Second Manifesto.
