Handwritten manuscripts by André Breton and Marcelle Ferry (Lila) making up a game of questions and answers dated 24 February 1934.
On 24 February 1934, Breton and another player devoted themselves to the pleasure of a game of questions and answers, each of them completing a table of questions and answers, with one person’s answers being set against the other’s questions. This game seems to have been very popular at 42 rue Fontaine during the winter of 1933-1934, as evidenced by the large number of pages that have been archived. [Atelier André Breton website, 2005]
