    Author Paul Éluard
    Letter to Inconnu

    Description

Handwritten letter by Paul Éluard dated December 5th, 1932 addressed to the Association of Revolutionary Writers and Artists.

Illegible, alas, is Paul Éluard’s signature on this declaration of application to the Association of Revolutionary Writers and Artists received by Breton in 1932. This of course is the first (and ephemeral) state of this organization, the second, in which Breton will participate for a while, will be directed by the Communists. Bien cordialement. Jean-Pierre Plisson
