« Another painting, at present in the André Breton Collection and exhibited at the time in the Surrealist gallery, 'Gradiva', shows a curious woman in the middle, transforming herself into a rolling table by means of wheels coming out of her
knees and elbows, with enormous horns where her eyes should be.
All action taking place in a room which lacks a wall, replaced by the view of a landscape: in this simple landscape, eyeballs are crowded here and there on the ground. On the window in the background rests an eye ».
